About Us
Kendra Woolstenhulme
MS, LCMFT, CTMH
Kendra is a marriage and family therapist, wife, and mom who understands that healthy relationships can be incredibly rewarding—and incredibly hard. She and Josh are married to each other, and together they’re navigating the everyday realities of marriage and family life: misunderstandings, busy schedules, parenting challenges, and all the imperfect moments that come with loving people deeply.
Kendra connects with people in a way that feels warm, genuine, and accepting. She believes lasting growth happens when people feel safe, supported, and truly heard. Whether she’s helping someone rebuild intimacy, communicate more effectively, understand themselves better, or grow closer as a family, Kendra offers practical tools for real life—not just ideas that sound good in theory.
As marriage and family therapists raising a family together, Kendra and Josh bring both professional expertise and personal experience to their work. Kendra draws from trusted, research-supported approaches, including cognitive behavioral interventions, dialectical behavior and acceptance and commitment techniques, and the Gottman Method. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all solution, she helps people discover the tools and strategies that best fit their relationships and their lives.
Kendra and Josh don’t claim to have a perfect marriage or family. Instead, they share what they’ve learned professionally—and what they continue to practice in their own home—to help others build stronger, healthier connections.
Josh Woolstenhulme
MA, LAMFT
Josh brings a different but complementary perspective to understanding relationships. With a background as a physical therapist, researcher, and human physiology professor, he has spent much of his career exploring how our bodies, minds, and relationships shape one another—and influence our everyday lives.
His experience has taught him that these parts of life aren’t nearly as separate as they may seem. When we’re stressed, our bodies feel it. When we’re exhausted or overwhelmed, it can be harder to stay patient and connected. And when our closest relationships are struggling, nearly every part of our well-being can be affected.
Josh enjoys turning research-based information into practical ideas people can actually use. He isn’t here to offer quick fixes or pile on more advice about what you “should” be doing. Instead, he helps people understand what may be happening beneath the surface and find realistic ways to feel better, connect more deeply, and move forward with intention.
Life with Kendra and their energetic kids keeps Josh’s professional knowledge grounded in the real world. He knows that understanding relationships and getting them right in the moment are two very different things. Together, Josh and Kendra are here to help you care for yourself in ways that also strengthen the people and relationships that matter most.
